In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging scripts, conducting research, and creating compelling content for YouTube videos, short-form content, product promotions, and website content.
Responsibilities:
Script Writing:
- Develop creative and engaging scripts for YouTube videos, short-form content, product promotions, and other multimedia content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to understand learning objectives and create scripts that effectively convey educational concepts and promote products.
- Craft compelling narratives, dialogue, and explanations to capture the attention and interest of the audience.
- Ensure scripts adhere to brand guidelines, style guides, and learning standards.
- Revise and edit scripts as needed, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and instructional designers.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the smooth transition from script to final content.
Research & Development (R&D):
- Conduct thorough research on educational topics, trends, and best practices.
- Gather and analyze data and information from various sources to support the development of accurate and up-to-date educational content.
- Stay updated on advancements in digital learning, instructional design, and educational technologies.
- Collaborate with the instructional design team to incorporate research findings into the content creation process.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of our educational offerings.
- Support the development of innovative learning solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our content.
Content Creation:
- Create engaging YouTube videos, short-form content, product promotions, and website content that align with our brand and target audience.
- Plan video shoots, including location scouting, scheduling, and coordinating necessary equipment and resources.
- Direct and coordinate video shoots, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to project timelines.
- Edit video footage, add graphics, music, and effects, and optimize videos for YouTube and other platforms.
- Develop short-form content, such as teasers, trailers, and snippets, to engage and attract viewers across various platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product promotion videos and campaigns.
- Create engaging and informative content for our website, including landing pages, blog articles, and multimedia content.
- Ensure all website content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and aligned with our brand voice and messaging.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus).
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a digital or educational setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Tamil and Sinhala.
- Intermediate level proficiency in English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think quickly and offer creative solutions.
- Empathy and a customer-centric mindset, with the ability to actively listen and understand customer needs and concerns.
- Patience and resilience when dealing with challenging customer situations.
- Proficient in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions and updating information.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
